As a part of the Project Team of the biggest student housing project in Qatar, we advised on suitable means of noise and vibration control. Correct selection of vibration isolators for numerous fans and pumps proved essential in reducing cost and installation time. Modifications of Fan Coil Unit layouts, alongside installation of acoustically insulated plenum boxes yielded significantly low interior noise levels; verified in the early construction stages to avoid any delays and hidden expenses.
